Yesterday was the big dress rehearsal for the Nutcracker. The costumes stay at the theater so these may be some of the only in costume photos I get of Ava dressed as a Santa's helper. Ava was very focused and super committed yesterday. I wasn't able to get any video or photos of her on stage because I agreed to be a stage mom for the show. Now that my foot is in a boot we discovered last night that I cannot bear enough weight, move fast enough to get the kids on the stage or to make small movements in the dark without stepping on the girls. So, I was training two other moms on my part last night and during the shows I will be the room mom. I will only get to see one of the 4 performances that Ava is in.
Her first show is Saturday afternoon!
