Murrieta has a tradition of having a Santa parade that comes to your neighborhood. They paint white stars on the streets of the city neighborhoods and post a schedule of the parade. It runs through the city for 5 nights and goes from star to star for 5 hours each night. The sleigh with Santa and a high school choir is pulled by a city truck and escorted by a city police officer. It's so special to the kids to run down to the star when they come by with a meg phone announcing that Santa is on his way. Then you stand for 30-45 minutes socializing with your neighbors until Santa's sleigh arrives. You can hear the singing and the bells for blocks and then finally you catch sight of the jolly old elf.
Note: Quentin once again changed what he asked Santa for. He said...I'd like a scooter and a Hot Wheels track (the Hot Wheels track is his official Santa gift). Santa was savvy though....he said, "well, which is it?" and Quentin just stood there. I could tell in his mind....he wanted to say, BOTH! LOL.
Also, you can tell we had a busy day this day. Isabella is wearing her basketball clothes, Sophia is wearing her Brownie outfit and Ava is wearing her nude leotard and tights covered by her bathrobe (and still has her hair and make up done from dress rehearsals).
