This weekend we spent our days at a soccer tournament in Irvine. More on that to follow.
After the 4th of July games we came home and cooled off in the pool (mommy even got in the pool...it must have been HOT!). Then we grilled hot dogs and hamburgers. The girls put on an outdoor show for us and danced and sang and then "served" us our dinners. After several (5) attempts at gettting my annual 4th of July photo I finally got one with Q having both his eyes open, looking AND looking at the camera. I had asked him to just open his eyes and look at the camera. Look what a smartie he is...man, he's lucky he's too cute.

The kids were in bed by 7pm and mom and dad were in bed by 7:45pm. No fireworks for us this year (why do they have to start so late LOL). There's more soccer on Sunday and we have a long day of soccer and sun to contend with.
