Ava's new Girl Scout Troop in Michigan went trick or treating in a local nursing home (no, not one of Rami's...a competitor *gasp*). I had to be in 2 places at once that day so Oma agreed to go with Ava and have fun with the festivities.
They had a good time together enjoying each other's company as well as making new Girl Scout friends and doing a service project.
The girls all brought small toiletry items for the residents and the residents in turn gave the girls some candy while they trick or treated in the facility. The residents had fun with the festivities and participating in trick or treating and ooohing and ahing over the costumes while the girls learned a thing or two about generosity and helping those in need.
