Every "almost" 8 year old girls needs an Auntie Jen!

Auntie Jen came to visit today. We had Girls Lunch (3 little girls and 2 big girls) at Chilis and then saw Space Chimps at the movie theater. It's always wonderful to see Auntie Jen and the attack begins at the front door when she shows up. Everyone is excited and everyone fights for position. Immediately the conversation turns into a power negotiation about who is going to sit by Auntie Jen at lunch and whose turn is during the movie. and then they remember that Auntie Jen gives mani/pedis while she's here too and only charges a small fee of one kiss.

Lunch was good, the movie was funny. Auntie Jen also brought a gift for Isabella's birthday. Isabella still technically has 3 weeks before her 8th birthday. But, she got to open her gift early since she won't see Auntie Jen again before then.

Isabella is one spoiled 8 year old. She's very lucky to have a cool Auntie Jen as her Godmother. Auntie Jen was able to score 2 pictures autographed by Taylor Swift. 3 Taylor Swift CDs (one autographed), 3 movies, a subscription to Discovery Girls Magazine and a cool pencil case. Seriously, an 8 year old girl had her dreams come true. She screetched "I'm so happy" and wondered all day how in the world Auntie Jen "knew Taylor Swift was my favorite".
