Take me out to the ballgame

We celebrated Quentin's 4th birthday at a baseball game. The Detroit Tigers were playing the LA Dodgers in LA on Q's birthday. Sounded like a great opportunity for some celebrating to us.

We started with a pregame "snack" at Philippe's in LA. Philippe's is a French Dip Sandwich shop made famous by the Food Network. YUM! Of course many Dodger Fans also go to Philippe's for a pregame snack and we were 6 Tiger's fans in a sea of Dodger Fans. We got boo'd as soon as we walked in and we were heckled a bit but all in good fun.

We had group tickets in the all you can eat pavilion. Yum! 20 of us had a great time in upper right field. Unfortunately, you get all the food you want but without the long lens on the camera you can forget about actually watching the game. Other than waking up the right fielders when a few long balls head your way....

After the game the kids got to run the bases. Quentin says that was his favorite part of the game.

A good day at the ballpark with great friends. "I don't care if I ever get back...."
