Quentin's preschool did their annual Mother's Day Tea program at school today. Q presented me with a flower and led me by the hand to my seat, served me a plate of goodies along with lemonade (which he promptly ate) and then sang a couple songs and read a story while we snuggled.
Afterwards he realized that they had forgotten to feed him HIS lunch so I took him on a date since we were both dressed so nice. We lunched in the gardens at Ponte Winery in Temecula and enjoyed the view and peaceful gardens. My date had a lovely wood fired pizza with a fresh glass of apple juice, while I dined on a mixed greens salad and iced tea.
What a lovely lunch date.
