Sophia is the infomercial queen of the house. Last year she asked for a Snuggie for her birthday and that started it all. This year, our little baker, sous chef has been obsessed with the Big Top Cupcake Maker. Who wouldn't be? After all, it makes a cupcake that is 25 TIMES the size of a normal cupcake. And, you can fill it with pudding and fruits using the "optional" filling insert!
So, for Christmas this year Aunt Susan and Uncle Pete sent the Big Top Cupcake Maker to Sophia. She has been baking her own birthday cakes since the year she turned 6. Yesterday for her 8th birthday she made a chocolate cake with fresh strawberry filling and vanilla icing. We started the pre-celebration birthday party last night and ate the cake. The cake was wonderful !
