We are traditionalists. The kids look forward to planning the menu, grocery shopping and cooking every Thanksgiving. At 9, 7, 6 and 3 they know the ingredients, they know the process and they know whose job is whose on thanksgiving.

We had a great time cooking and preparing food as a family today.
Everyone went around the table and said who and what they were thankful for and I was really impressed by Quentin. At just 3 and a half years old he rattled off a list of meaningful things...friends, animals, family and teachers.
We are thankful for opportunities given us, a good job, a nice house, our family and friends and each other. Happy Thanksgiving.
