Sophia's Brownie Troop went on a hike at the Santa Rosa Plateau yesterday. It was a beautiful and informative 1.2 mile hike along a small trail in an uninhabited area of Murrieta. Sophia really had a fun time spending time hiking with just mom and her troop learning about nature and learning to be observant in nature. Of course the studying of scat (aka poop) is also funny and fun. Don't worry, the scat samples in the Ranger Center were rubber poop. The ones on the trail...were not.
