Rami took two weeks off work recently. So, we were able to share the duties of running around town , etc. This allowed Quentin to be home for longer stretches of time. So, Rami started asking him if he had to go potty more frequently than we normally do.
By the end of the 2 weeks Quentin has initiated pee and poop on the potty 2-4 times a day. Usually, we're guaranteed to be able to go pee right before nap and bedtime. And, most days the #2 is caught around mid-morning. YAY! Quentin. He gets a "pop pop" for every successful attempt on the potty and some days he was up to 4 pop pops a day. Also, "flushing is for winners"...so if you want to flush the potty you'd better produce! Q loves to flush the potty so he's been eager to collect that reward.
Of course we're no where near consist ant enough to be considered potty trained. But, he's off to a fantastic start. (Now, if only I could stop rocking him every night AND get him out of the crib and into the bed).
