Together we can....

Every year the PTA sponsors student creativity and spurs thinking with their Reflections campaign. Students are encouraged to voluntarily submit a creative piece in a variety of mediums. Artwork, photography, literature, film or dance.

This year all three girls decided to create a literature piece in a different genre.

Ava chose to create a short story about a girl named Kalia who observes children picking flowers. She warns them that things will die if flowers are not here. Many years later people grow sick and die. The community comes together to help plant new flowers and the town is once again beautiful and healthy. Together we can plant things. "The Horrible Sight".

Sophia chose to write a short story about a girl named Jasmine who visits the beach and is exasperated about litter she finds. She creates flyer's to motivate her friends and family to clean up the beaches. Her friends and family decide to secretly clean up the beaches for Jasmine and then they surprise Jasmine with their accomplishment. Together we can save our oceans.

Isabella, who loves Panda Bears decided to write a non-fiction report explaining about endangered species and the food chain. She took the role of an activist and educates peers on how we can save endangered species. Together we can save animals.

The girls worked very hard on their pieces and no matter how they do I am proud of how they thought about the task and how they accomplished their goals.
