Amen.
We celebrated Thanksgiving with our families this year. The first time in 5 Thanksgivings that we've been "home" to enjoy a big meal with friends and family. We are thankful for that.
It was sort of an adjustment for the younger kids to understand. Isabella is probably the only one who may remember that there was once a time when we gathered amongst family and friends and celebrated with a 26 pound turkey made to feed 21 people. In California the kids always helped prepare the Thanksgiving meal and some of them were disappointed that their normal food job skills were not needed this year.
So, we're in the process of making new traditions and celebrating what we're thankful for moving forward.
This year we are most Thankful for family and friends.
