Today was the first game of the regular season for FC Murrieta G00 Blue. These girls have trained hard since February. They've toughed out tournaments and today they started their first official season together. They have really come together as a team. They played well today and they communicated well with each other.
Sadly, today they had to say goodbye to Isabella. She's been a strong force on the team. One of only 3 players that had ever played club soccer before the other girls looked to her for guidance. She is kind hearted and good natured. She's made some true friends. She will miss these girls as she moves on. She has learned from these coaches and she has learned from these teammates. She has a solid foundation of skills that she has cultivated from recreational soccer through Club soccer with Murrieta Youth Soccer league and FC Murrieta. They should be proud that she's carrying their blue shield with her to Michigan.
We're closing this chapter on Isabella's soccer days in Southern California and we're opening the next chapter.
