Bridging from Brownie to Junior Girl Scouts

*sniff* *tear* Isabella bridged to a Junior Girl Scout today. She is absolutely in love with being a Girl Scout and has embraced it with all her heart. She was so proud today and even wrote her own speech for her troop leader. She took time to write it on her own and then memorize it to tell Ms. Lisa how she really feels about being a Girl Scout. Some days this girl of mine really impresses me. She told Lisa that she was really happy for all the things she's learned while being a Brownie and that she's really looking forward to being a Junior and beyond. *sniff* *tear*

The troop is a super troop that includes girls from Daisy's, Brownies and Juniors now. The Juniors will start to take over the planning and management of the troop and continue to mentor their Girl Scout sisters. There was a lot of excitement for the whole troop today as we conducted the ceremony at The Temecula Duck Pond and celebrated with lunch at Pat & Oscar's.

Congratulations Girls of Troop 140!

wow that is very cute. I was never in girl scouts, but it sounds like the girls have a lot of fun. Maybe Ella would like that in the fall.
