Brownie Lock In. Friday, April 11, 2008
75 Brownie Girl Scouts locked up for the night. Troops and girls only (no parents allowed).
6:15pm - Drive to meet up place. Isabella tells me that she's excited and maybe a little nervous too and that I should promise her to never have another sleepover until she's 15 years old. I reply, no problem. I'm a little nervous and excited too.
6:30pm - Drop Isabella off for Troop ride along to the Brownie Lock In at Tumble Jungle in Temecula, CA. She's partying already with her troop. When it's time to say goodnight and goodbye she gets a little tear, but doesn't let it go because her friends will see (mommy sniffles).
7:00pm - Brownie's arrive. This is the time to make new friends and exchange SWAPS.
7:20pm - Opening Ceremony and Flag
7:30pm - Rotation Schedule. Tumble time in the gym and fun games and activities.
10:30pm - Good Night Song
10:40pm - Roll out the sleeping bags.
11:00pm - Movie and popcorn
12:30pm Lights out
Saturday:
6:45am - Get dressed and packed. Continental breakfast and hit the road.
7:30am - Pick up your exhausted child and get ready for 3 hours of soccer.
*****Isabella's normal bedtime is 7:30pm. The latest she has ever stayed up is 10pm. I am curious to see if she will make it through all of the activities.*****
UPDATE: She said she was the last one asleep and the first one up this morning. She had a blast. definately wants to do it again. She is extremely tired today in the 90+degree heat for soccer.
