We cooked a huge 7 hour meal and devourered it in 15 minutes flat. As usual, Rami got the biggest turkey he could find on Monday. The bird weighed in at 23 pounds this year...relatively smaller than in years past but HUGE just the same.
I went to the gym to work out and was greeted when I arrived home with the wonderful smell of rosemary and roasting Turkey.
We put the kids to work every year since we moved to California and still have the big family style feast with just our small family.
All the girls helped prep the turkey. Sophia practically made the whole pumpkin pie this year. Ava made mashed potatoes. Isabella made corn bread. All 3 girls husked the corn on the cob. Quentin made the cresent rolls.
We made a cute turkey craft for a center piece and we had a great day just enjoying being a family.
Isabella won the wishbone fight with Quentin this year. Next years challengers will be the past 2 years winners...so Ava and Isabella will pair off for the wishbone classic.
