Our kids only get one special "friend" party. When they turn 5 years old they get a full blown bash that is just their style. Ava is our dancing queen. She told me she just wanted to "dance and listen to music with her friends". So, I called her dance studio and asked them what they could do to help me. They rented me a private studio and 2 instructors and we did a mini hip hop class.
We went with a HSM3 (High School Musical 3) theme and everyone had a blast.
The craft was a photo album.
We did the freeze dance.
40 minutes of class instruction where they learned the moves to 30 seconds of a HSM dance.
