Isabella and Sophia both had their basketball games yesterday. 2 games in to the season and they are starting to settle down and get the plays down. both girls shot the most amount of baskets for each of their respective teams.
Orange Crush: Sophia plays co-ed ball, so for her teammates to share the ball with a girl is impressive, most of the time the 2nd grade boys think that if they pass to a girl that the girl won't make the basket. Sophia scored 5 baskets in the high post position.
Lady Lakers: Isabella plays 3rd, 4th, 5th grade girls only basketball. The competition is stepped up in this division and the girls bring their A games. Isabella plays point guard and guard and scored 7 baskets, including one free throw shot.
