Right? Please tell me that Kevin Cosner is telling the truth. In a desperate attempt to get my children into good study habits AND declutter my house from the 900 bajillion toys I trip over I set out to create a dedicated study area. Gone are the tools of distraction. No more being able to say, that Quentin is bothering them, or that the things in their rooms distract them, or that they don't have the space to think.
And, as an added benefit...aesthetically I like the way things look now too. I'm slowly regaining control over the kid stuff that has overrun my home for the last 9 years.
