An Ava-ism

Ava is 5 and a half now is routinely cracks me up. She calls herself the "prankster" and is often the "director" when the girls play dress up or popstar or High School Musical. She also has a somewhat peculiar fascination with blood and scary stuff but is so girly girl you'd never know it.

Yesterday we were trying to decide what we wanted to do today. The girls were throwing out ideas, Disneyland, California Adventure, Legoland, Mulligans, Bowling, Seaworld, Knott's Berry Farm, etc.

We started to say that we probably shouldn't go to Knott's Berry Farm until older girls are actually willing to GET ON the rollarcoasters. Poor Ava has always wanted to go on all the rollarcoaster but has always been too short. She's finally 42 inches this year and is looking forward to some thrilling rides.

So, in order to "sell us" on the idea of a Knott's Berry farm trip she says:
"I really love the feeling you get when you puke a little and it comes halfway up your throat but it doesn't come up all the way and then you swallow it"..."that's a great feeling". She was dead serious and said this with a cute, blonde haired blue eyed smile. :-D

I burst out laughing...seriously this girl cracks me UP! She's so right in her analysis and she's dead on in her description...but WHAT 5 year old says that?!?!

She's quite the character.
