Our little lady

Today is Isabella's Birthday! She turned 8 years old. Too me it seems like yesterday that she was just a baby being born into this world and to her it feels like an eternity to get this far in life.

She's become a miraculous little girl. She is so full of life and energy and is always goofing off and smiling. She perks people up and it so thoughtful and kind as well. She's turning into quite a little sports star. 2 seasons per year of soccer, basketball in the winter and this summer she completed four months of tennis. She definitely has her daddy's love of music, movies and TV and to go head to head with her in some trivia about these subjects would be quite hard.

We enjoyed our family trip to the circus yesterday. Today Daddy's cafe opened and the menu was pancakes and bacon. Isabella opened her presents and then we spent the morning outside trying out her new heelies (shoes with wheels). After that we went swimming and ate lunch. Her and I ran a couple errands and picked up her DQ ice cream cake. She went to tennis and then came home and we ate a nice dinner (she said a prayer thanking God for blessing her with a world full of wonderful people to celebrate her birthday with) and enjoyed the DQ cake. We told some stories by the fire and at bedtime she said she'd like it to be her birthday forever and she didn't want to go to sleep if it meant waking up and it not being her birthday anymore.
