Potty Training 101

We started Potty Training a few weeks ago. http://livingintheubaydifamily.blogspot.com/2008/08/potty-training.html

This week we got serious about it.

The tools:
A candy jar, labelled "Quentin's Potty Jar"
A sticker chart
A basket of potty treats to chose from

The child:
Quentin, age 2

The goal:
Go potty at least 6 times a day. For each accomplishment earn a jelly bean and a sticker. At the end of the day if you earn all 6 stickers you can chose a treat from the potty basket. Fill the chart and earn a spider Man watch and official big boy Spiderman underpants.

The results:
Quentin went potty at least 10-12 times a day and most days he stayed dry. He even stayed dry overnight and at naptime for 3 days. He had a couple accidents that were mommy's fault for not believing that he had to go potty 5 minutes after he had just gone.

Good Job Quentin!!!!!
