On Friday Jennifer and I were talking and she said she needed a date for co-workers birthday party. I offered to choke down my insane (and I do mean INSANE) fear of driving on freeways that are out of my 30 miles comfort zone and come to Burbank to the party.
I left home after the Saturday soccer games and made it out to LA by 4:30pm. We walked down to downtown Burbank and looked at some of the shops and played with some hats in some stores (tee hee, Jennifer really does have a hat addiction. I on the other hand look horrid in hats and always have).
Jennifer cooked me a fabulous dinner of cajun chicken pasta and fresh spinach/strawberry salad. We had the biggest bottle of Mondavie wine that you can imagine. By 9:30pm (my normal mommy bedtime) we were ready to go out to the karaoke bar where the party was at.
Jennifer's friends were so cute and we rocked the party until 1:30am. We decided not to be "those girls" who shut the place down and we left before the bar closed down.
Fun times!
