Gingerbread House making

Someone remind me...next year I spend the extra money to buy 4 gingerbread house kits OR we make mini-GB houses from Graham crackers. This year everyone wanted to be involved so we had to divide the house parts up. Quentin did the roof, Isabella did the front, Sophia did left side and Ava did the right side.

We can never get the houses to look like those on the box and there's usually a battle in the end for the left over candy. This year Q cracked me up because as I was cleaning up I looked over and he was licking/trying to eat the side of the house as it sat on the table.

PS: Hot gluing your house together is sooo much easier then frosting it together and waiting for frosting to dry. WHY didn't I think of that years ago?

Funny, When I started looking at the pictures I was thinking "She did 1 house for 4 kids? CRAZY!"
We did 2 houses for 4 kids. Big kids helped little kids.

It came out great! I like the kid looking ones better than the box looking kind, any day!

Love Q licking it too!

I am going to have to tell steve about the hot glue thing. He is the gingerbread man in our house.
