Sophia and 15 of her Daisy Girl Scout friends in her troop bridged to Brownies this afternoon. They had a very cute ceremony where they recited the Girl Scout pledge one-by-one and then crossed over a bridge. At the end of the bridge their parent helped them change from their blue Daisy smock to their brown Brownie vest. Isabella and Ava both helped me change Sophia's smock.

I always wondered when they switched from Daisy to brownies. Do all communities have Daisy's because it doesn't seem like they are always around....
Does this mean Sophia and Isabella are in the same troop now?
They are changing Daisy's to K and 1st grade this year. Brownies will be 2and 3rd grade now.
Every community has it available but it depends on how many troops are open.
Sophia and Isabella are NOT int he same troop. Because they are too competitive with each other and they'd fight. Also, Sophia LOVES her troop and doesn't want to leave them.
I am starting a Daisy component within Isabella's troop (we're converting to a super troop) and Ava will be in that Daisy troop.
