WOW!

The National PTA is conducting an art contest. The girls decided to enter. The theme is "WOW"! You could create any piece of flat art that went with the theme. (there are other categories as well).

Isabella chose to do an oil pastel piece depicting Michael Phelps. She said he was WOW because when she watched the Olympics she was amazed at how fast he could swim.

Sophia decided that WOW to her meant something beautiful...specifically the most beautiful dress she had ever seen. Her picture is of a movie star wearing the most beautiful dress. Her chosen mediums were acrylic paints and colored pencils.

Ava's picture depicts both Disneyland and Legoland. She said that they were great places to visit that were very fun. She divided the picture in half (very smart girl) and drew two people...once person is made of lego bricks, but once she painted it it was difficult to see that. She used pencil and acrylic paint.
