We're managing to squeeze in all kinds of Fall fun this month. We headed out to Folger's Farm in Rochester to take a hayride and pick some pumpkins for the kids.
There was a bit of pumpkin tragedy when Isabella had picked the perfect pumpkin and carried it around the patch while waiting for the hayride back to the farm house. The rules was...you pick it, you carry it. And, well Mr. Perfect Pumpkin was a little heavy for Isabella. Just as the tractor was coming back to pick us up Isabella dropped her poor pumpkin. She cried! Then sadly, she had to find another pumpkin quickly or she wasn't going to have a pumpkin for carving. The poor second choice pumpkin is going to have a complex because it was obvious from the beginning that she didn't love it nearly as much as Mr. Perfect Pumpkin.
We had a fun time enjoying the farm and the weather.
