Sophia was presented with an award during the monthly First Grade assembly today. She was honored to receive the CARE award from her classmates. This is a peer based award that is voted on by the class. Sophia was smiles from ear to ear.
Today was also the last day of the Chess Club for this session. Sophia earned a medal and a t-shirt. she did really well for this being the first time ever playing Chess. Rami had taught her a few months ago and she picked it up quickly.
